RUSSIAN WOMEN'S TEAM TO PLAY KENYA AND HAITI
Matches to be held in Kazan in late June
The Russian women's national football team will play two friendly matches against Kenya and Haiti in late June, the Russian Football Union (RFU) announced on Tuesday.
The matches will be held in Kazan on June 25 and 28, respectively.
The matches will be part of Russia's preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, which will be held in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20.
Russia has been drawn into Group G for the World Cup, along with Italy, Sweden and Argentina.
Kenya is currently ranked 133rd in the FIFA Women's World Rankings, while Haiti is ranked 56th.
Russia is ranked 25th in the FIFA Women's World Rankings.
