According to the source, the salary of the player, who is a graduate of Lokomotiv, did not suit Dynamo. The player was offered a salary of about 2.5 million euros per year, which the Moscow club considered excessive.

Miranchuk was also claimed by Zenit, but the St. Petersburg club eventually chose Claudinho.
