Anthony Jennings was born in Roanoke, Alabama, on February 22, 1993. He attended Handley High School in Roanoke, where he excelled in football and track and field. Jennings was a standout running back, earning All-State honors and leading his team to the state championship game in his senior year.

After graduating high school, Jennings enrolled at the University of Georgia. He made an immediate impact on the Bulldogs' football team, rushing for 857 yards and 11 touchdowns in his freshman season. Jennings continued to be a key contributor for Georgia throughout his college career, finishing his tenure with 2,831 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns.

Professional Career

Jennings was selected by the New York Giants in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He spent two seasons with the Giants, primarily as a backup running back. In 2018, Jennings signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he had a breakout season, rushing for 546 yards and five touchdowns.

Jennings joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2019 but was released before the start of the season. He subsequently signed with the Dallas Cowboys, where he has served as a backup running back and special teams contributor.
